Hi, i am Magan Basque, Miss Cape Breton World 2017
Magan is a young Indigenous woman who continuously practices her cultural by making her own regalia and hand drum. Magan has also participated in high school activities such as basketball, softball, and also dinner theatre and drama. She also practiced ballet and other dance techniques since she was young. Magan enjoys working at her local superstore as a cashier, fishing with friends, practicing makeup, spending time with family and friends and travelling. She also enjoys taking part in community events such as pageants. Magan enjoys taking part in pageants to be a role model to younger aboriginal women in her community to achieve what they set they're mind to.
