We don’t always get to see where the money goes when we donate to non-profits and charities. Today I got to see where some of the money goes when people donate to the Children’s Wish Foundation.

Meet Nicole.
Nicole is three years old and lives in central Newfoundland. During our playdate today, we did some serious playing with her toy horses and her new toys she got from Walmart. She showed me her shiny princess crowd, a horseback riding barbie, and her butterfly catcher.

“It’s easy to see how much happiness she brings to those in her life. It’s difficult to imagine that this bright and happy little girl has recently been diagnosed with Wilms’ Tumor. Nicole has been a brave and uplifting little girl during her difficult time, and the Children’s Wish Foundation of Canada is thrilled to be able to give a bit of happiness back to a little girl and her family.”

“This wish means we have a chance to do something wonderful with the kids.” – Nicole’s mom

I am so happy to be working with the Children’s Wish Foundation through Miss World Canada and more importantly helping local kids and families have priceless memories and a wonderful distraction from the difficult times they face. Please help me reach my goal of granting a wish to children like Nicole.

Thank so much Aunt Germaine for your kind words. I am so happy to be doing this for Nicole. After meeting her I realized how important the Children’s Wish work really is. To volunteer and raise money with them this year and then to be able to volunteer and fundraise for the Jennifer A Cutler Foundation means the world to me. We are impacting more than one life. We are changing more than one life. Cancer affects us all and to bring joy in one of the hardest battles that someone can face brings me speechless.
